The Need:
The country of Belize is the smallest country in Central America, yet has the highest population infected by HIV. Due to 65% of the population being under the age of 25, Belize has a high poverty rate and many kids live on the streets. Ministry in Belize is highly youth focused, with sports camps and outdoor community events, concerts, etc.
Short Term Trip Possibilities:
We will have a unique opportunity to travel and minister in two distinct areas in the small country located northeast of Guatemala. First serving in Belize City with a Mennonite Community, hosting a Vacation Bible School for children as well as teaching/leading worship services. Afterward we will travel by water taxi to San Pedro town, a small island in Ambergris Caye with a small population of young people mostly under the age of 25. Here, we will minister alongside the local christian radio station, hosting island wide community events, concerts, church services, and much more in their central park!

Tentative Costs: $1,500 including travel, lodging, meal costs, etc.
